Hollow glass inspection machinery for laboratory and production line inspection. All our equipment is tailored to each client’s specific needs. We use the latest technologies in machine vision and confocal sensors to offer the most suitable solutions for Quality and Manufacturing Departments.
AGEVO is a technological solution with different commercial components to achieve a standard solution for wall thickness inspection in glass containers.
The SmartGob enables precise control and measurement of the weight and shape of each glass drop. It controls weight by automatically regulating the feed tube, relieving the operator of the stress of dealing with fluctuations inherent in the glassmaking process. In the blowing process, the SmartGob can save tons of glass per year by allowing work with very precise target weights (with an accuracy of +/- 1 g for a 300 g drop). The SmartGob also facilitates the reproduction of the glass drop shape. Using the OPC-UA protocol or others, it allows all data related to the bottle’s dimensions and weight to be recorded, ensuring comprehensive traceability and quality control.
Monitoring the temperature of blank and blow molds has always been a challenge in the glass industry. The SPYRO solution uses infrared cameras to accurately measure the temperature of both blank and finished molds during each cycle. Each section has its own camera. Konatic Spyro can autonomously regulate mold ventilation using a closed-loop mode, independent of the induction system (IS) manufacturer. This feature gives Konatic a clear advantage over other products and enables rapid cost recovery thanks to increased efficiency and a reduction in defects related to temperature fluctuations.
Konatic’s Trinity is a state-of-the-art hot-end infrared inspection system designed to address the key challenges of container glass production.
Thanks to advanced AI vision technology, high-resolution HDR images, and a maintenance-free electric cooling system, Trinity ensures accurate and reliable defect detection and dimensional measurement directly at the hot end.
The system automatically adjusts inspection parameters using machine learning, reducing reliance on expert settings and minimizing false rejects.
Trinity also supports multiple camera configurations, real-time synchronization with the IS machine (correlated defects to sections and cavities), and optional top-down inspection capabilities.
Compact, scalable, and cost-effective, Trinity sets a new standard in quality control and production efficiency in the glass industry.
The Hexagon enables in-line, contactless scanning of CO2 laser-engraved Datamatrix codes on glass bottles. It can be installed on filling lines or in glass manufacturing plants. The scanned codes can be connected to a database to improve bottle traceability, especially for returnable bottles.
The Spin Reader is used on rotary machines to read Datamatrix codes engraved with CO2 laser on glass bottles. Known for its easy adjustment and high code reading tolerance, it is used by leading glass manufacturers (OI, VERALLIA, VETROPACK) and bottlers (INBEV, MOET CHANDON).
In filling plants, a unique and advanced technology is used to read DataMatrix codes. This innovative technology plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of products as they transit through the plants.
Konatic is proud to introduce Hexagon Alpha, a revolutionary innovation developed in collaboration with a leading cosmetic bottle manufacturer. This unique technology is designed to read the alphanumeric codes clearly located on the necks of perfume bottles. Key features:
The InnerScan is a laboratory instrument that accurately assesses the interior shape of wine bottles. It is durable and can be installed in either the hot end or the laboratory. It provides accurate measurements from the neck to a depth of 50 mm and captures data automatically.
Introducing our unique laboratory equipment, designed to measure hot-end coating thickness with nanometer precision. Our advanced sensor eliminates the need for indexing fluid for readings. By eliminating the need for oil, you can take significantly more measurements per container, facilitating a more accurate comprehensive assessment of the hot-end treatment application. The system is approved by CETIE, OI, VETROPACK, and WIEGAND GLASS.
The Datamatrix precision code reader, a cutting-edge tool, is installed on the hot end for thorough inspection. It functions as a high-tech microscope and plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of the Datamatrix code. By allowing early detection of any deviations or poorly engraved codes during the process, it has become an indispensable tool for our customers in the glass manufacturing industry who use CO2 laser engraving systems.
The Fusion Machina, developed by Laser Metrologie and distributed exclusively by Konatic, eliminates the need for a microscope and the laborious manual counting of seeds and bubbles in glass bottles. This system offers unmatched accuracy and consistency, facilitating rapid and precise furnace control and optimization in a glass manufacturing facility.
Introducing the KONATIC TIN READER, a revolutionary handheld device designed to monitor and measure tin oxide treatment (hot-end coating of glass) on glass bottles prior to the annealing process. Traditionally, checking coating thickness required waiting 30 to 45 minutes for hot bottles to cool sufficiently for laboratory testing. This delay could result in the production of many potentially defective containers that had to be rejected. The KONATIC TIN READER solves this problem by providing instant coating thickness measurements on hot bottles directly from the production line, regardless of glass color and thickness. This allows any coating-related issues to be quickly identified and resolved, significantly reducing waste and ensuring consistent quality.
